Our Journey
Our journey started in 2021. WoPower had an ambition to develop a platform that exclusively served less privileged women all over Pakistan. WoPower was established as a foundation aiming to aid and empower women in Pakistan whichever best way possible. WoPower is a non-profit organization which solely works for the welfare and excellence of women in Pakistan. Since its establishment, WoPower is working with deep commitment to achieve its goals and is expanding its services to a greater number of women as the passage of time. WoPower has evolved to address the unique needs of women from various backgrounds. We believe our women are strong, they just need the right kind of support at the right time to practise their strength and skills; and the right kind of awareness is needed for everyone else to comprehend and change their perceptions towards them, and that is what we aim to accomplish at WoPower. We yearn to make Pakistani women skilful, leaders and breadwinners of their families supporting themselves and their loved ones. WoPower pursues a Pakistani society where women are accomplished and dignified living better lives in better conditions along with men. Our Mission
WoPower is a non-governmental organisation that is dedicated to serving women of diverse backgrounds, ages, and socioeconomic statuses within Pakistan. Our mission is to empower women by providing tailored programs beyond temporary solutions and equip them with sustainable skills, fostering independence and resilience. We believe in the power of community-driven change and implement initiatives tailored to the specific needs and aspirations of the women we serve.
Our approach is rooted in holistic empowerment, encompassing education, skill development, and mentorship to address the multifaceted challenges women encounter. We offer comprehensive educational programs, including skill-building workshops, literacy courses, and career development initiatives. Our organisation fosters entrepreneurship through mentorship, business development workshops, and resource access.
